Finished Jade and Botanica Beginnings

Remember all of that denim I ripped? Here is how it got used in Jade, an edgier denim inspired concept. We did both the below chandelier installation and the accessory/clothing walls. It turned out beautiful! (as always with Anthropologie)

Botanica, a floral/earthy inspired concept, is underway! The oversize flower bed is gorgeous with the colorful poppys made out of vellum, pipe, and styrofoam bowls. Can't wait to see the rest come together=)

Last day during winter session!

Iris and me in front of Anthro!

Jade- denim galore

Talk about tedious work. I spent 7 hours tearing thin strips of denim from 15 yard long sheets. I was doing it for so long that i started to feel nauseous. After all of the strips were torn, we started rolling them just to make it more organized. UGH.

Front of store

Boss Nicole arranging the stalagmites. They took awhile to make. We started with a BUNCH of sheets of wood that we painted orange on one side. Then, they got cut down, had to be assembled in perfect right angles, glued, nailed, power sanded, shallaked, and finally hung. Ugh. Long process, but worth it.
They look like baby birds waiting for their turn!
First row hung! More to comeee

signage

Signage is a lot of fun. I worked on the canyon signage for Capri Blue candles. The process involved a typewriter, modgepodging colored paper, hand done type, etc. There are 4 total.

I also worked on signage for another candle/perfume line. For this I used the typewriter again, a paper puncher and the unused fans from our one window display.
